User:Sean.Bake/Evaluate an Article

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The article I chose is “women in classical athens”. I think everything in the article is relevant and the lead ins are clearly indicating the topic, if the title of the article didn’t do that already. I also think that the hyperlinks can help familiarize anyone not known to the topic. The article is neutral, however it pulls a lot from Sarah Pomeroy, which was one of the leading historians on this topic. While I know that she is very reliable and a good source, in the over 3 decades since she first started writing there has been a number of added articles and books on the topic, which I think could be included to broaden the article. The talk page seems to not have been used since 2012, which may show that the article is considered to be good.
