The following is a list of songs in Rock Band, a music video game developed by Harmonix. This list includes songs found on the Rock Band game disc ("main setlist" and "bonus tracks") as well as downloadable songs available for purchase on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms. Included in each table is the title, artist, and numeric values representing the in-game difficulty rating of the song from 1 (easiest) to 9 (hardest). Tables for downloadable content include the name of the pack (if applicable), as well as the original release date. Song titles listed in bold are master recordings.

Additional songs
[edit]Downloadable songs
[edit]The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game support downloadable songs, including complete albums. Users can download packs or albums in their entirety, or on a song-by-song basis. Downloadable songs are playable within every game mode, including the Band World Tour career mode.
Song packs containing three songs cost $5.49 (on PlayStation Network) or 440 Microsoft Points (on Xbox Live), while song packs containing six songs cost $9.99/800 MSP. Individual songs are available for $1.99/160 MSP. Some songs have been priced at $0.99/80 MSP for a limited time before being raised to the standard price. It has been stated that future songs could cost as much as $2.99. The price for downloadable albums will vary, according to how many songs are on the album.[6] The first album download will reportedly be Who's Next by The Who.[7][8]
As of April 8, 2008, 81 songs have been made available as downloadable content[9], while three additional songs have been made available exclusively for the Xbox 360 version of the game in the February 2008 issue of Official Xbox Magazine. This brings the total number of possible songs in the game to 142. Rock Band features more available downloadable content items than any other console game. According to the game's publishers, over 200 downloadable songs will be released in 2008.[10] As of March 2008, 6 million downloadable songs have been purchased by players.[11]
All songs available in packs are also available as individual song downloads on the same date unless otherwise noted. Songs are typically available on Tuesdays on Xbox Live and Thursdays on PSN. Dates listed are the initial release of songs on Xbox Live.
The following is a list of songs currently available for download. All songs are $1.99 (PSN)/160 MSP unless otherwise noted.[12]
