Screamout

[edit]

Screamout is an American streetwear brand established in 2024 by a California-based graphic designer omar vasquez with a deep-rooted interest in emo, satanic aesthetics, and internet culture. The brand gained recognition for its provocative and boundary-pushing designs, drawing heavily from subversive themes and unconventional influences.

history

[edit]

The origins of Screamout trace back to 2019 when its founder (omar vasquez) began conceptualizing the brand while honing his skills in graphic design. With a passion for creating bold and controversial visuals, he officially launched the company in 2024 after investing in tools like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and a reliable computer setup.

The founder's background in graphic design began as early as the fourth grade, where he cultivated a unique artistic vision that would later shape the brand’s identity. Starting with just three graphic T-shirts, Screamout quickly set itself apart with striking and unapologetic designs:

  • A modified Rolling Stones logo featuring vampire fangs and a razor blade on its tongue.
  • A reinterpretation of the “76” logo as “666,” complete with a blood splatter.

A controversial shirt expressing support for Osama bin Laden, sparking debates and discussions online.

Design and Aesthetic

[edit]

Screamout embraces a blend of emo subculture, satanic symbolism, and irreverent takes on popular culture. The brand is known for its satirical spin-offs of iconic logos and entities, including reimagined designs inspired by major corporations like Nike and Apple, as well as nostalgic TV shows such as iCarly.

By incorporating themes of rebellion, darkness, and societal critique, Screamout appeals to a niche audience drawn to alternative fashion and countercultural statements.

Mission and Vision

[edit]

The brand’s mission is to challenge conventional design norms and provoke thought through "insane graphics" that resonate with a generation deeply immersed in internet culture. The founder remains dedicated to pushing creative boundaries and expanding the brand’s influence in the streetwear scene.
