Sakthi Polytechnic College (SPC)

Sakthi Polytechnic College was formerly known as Sakthi Institute of Technology (SIT) is a government aided polyethnic college in Tamil Nadu. It focuses primarily on technical education in engineering and science for the rural students. After its expansion now it offers courses in 8 disciplines.

SPC was founded as Sakthi Institute of Technology in September 1981 by Dr.N. Mahalingam through Sakthi Foundation. It is located in Sakthi Nagar, Appakudal.
