Stick With Me Sweets is a New York City–based chocolatier known for its hand-painted bonbons. It was founded in 2014 by Susanna Yoon, formerly of the restaurant Per Se.
History
[edit]Stick With Me Sweets opened in the Nolita neighborhood of Manhattan in 2014. Susanna Yoon, who established the company, had previously worked as head chocolatier at the three-Michelin-starred restaurant Per Se.[1][2]
Production later moved to the Brooklyn Navy Yard.[3]
Products
[edit]Stick With Me Sweets produces small-batch, hand-painted bonbons available in assorted gift boxes. Flavors have included yuzu, black sesame, and bourbon-maple pecan.[2] The brand has also developed seasonal offerings, including Lunar New Year confections—highlighted by Food Network for their citrus and puffed rice flavors—and hand-painted Valentine's Day assortments featured in Vanity Fair as “beautifully hand-painted little gems.”[4][failed verification][5]
Reception
[edit]The company has been featured in national publications. It was included in Oprah's Favorite Things in 2016.[6] In 2025, The New York Times Wirecutter described the bonbons as “every piece is a showstopper that balances novelty with deliciousness.”[7] Consumer Reports called them “visually stunning and expertly crafted.”[8][failed verification] The brand has also been profiled in Vogue and Bloomberg.[9][10]
