The limitative case (abbrievated LIM) is used to specify a deadline.

This case is used in the Japanese and Ithkuil[1] languages.

Example

[edit]

Japanese

[edit]

In Japanese, the particle ⟨まで-に⟩ is the limitative case. An example of usage is seen below:

午後5時半までに / ごご ご-じ はん まで-に.

(Gogo go-ji han made-ni).

(By 5:30 PM).
