SEGH – CFE 1 is a solar energy generation project located in Puerto Libertad, [[1]] in the municipality of Pitiquito, [[2]] Sonora, [[3]] Mexico, immediately adjacent to a heavy fuel burning power station owned and operated by the Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE), Mexico’s state owned utility company. SEGH-CFE 1 will be built with an installed capacity of 39 megawatt using multi-crystalline silicon panels, placed on an array of trackers designed to produce 100,000,000 kWh of electricity each year.[5]] For SEGH-CFE 1, American Electric Technologies, Inc. [[6]] (NASDAQ: AETI) [[7]] with a headquarters in Houston, Texas will manufacture, install and commission the combiner boxes, inverters, transformers and a substation.
SEGH-CFE 1 will cost $58,000,000 USD, or $1487 USD/kW, and will be privately financed through a combination of debt and equity. [[8]]
