Biography
[edit]James's parents are Nigerian and Trinidadian immigrants. She was born in Britain.[1] She was primarily raised in the United States.[2] She earned her BA in Creative Writing from Hofstra University and MFA in poetry from New York University.[1]
James has published a poetry collection Song of My Softening (Alice James Books, 2024), and a chapbook, Daughter Tongue. Daughter Tongue was selected by the African Poetry Book Fund in collaboration with Akashic Books for the 2018 New-Generation African Poets Box Set.[1]
James is an assistant editor for Bellevue Literary Review, in New York City.[1]
James was nominated for the Pushcart Prize twice.[3]

Dr. Zoneziwoh Mbondgulo-Wondieh (March 26, 1985-) is a Cameroonian feminist advocate.[7]
Early life
[edit]Mbondgulo-Wondieh was born on March 26, 1985. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science and Master of Social Sciences degree in Sex and Gender Studies at the University of Buea. She then earned a Master of Social Sciences in Sex, Gender, and Violence from the University of Aberdeen and doctorate in International Relations and Conflict at Buea.[7]
Mbondgulo-Wondieh founded and serves as Executive Director of Women for a Change in Cameroon, and organization that advocates for the voices of African women in governmental policy and decision making.[7]
