Zhang Baozhong (born in 1972 in Henan province) is a chinese taijiquan master who belongs to the 20th generation of Chen style.
In 2022, he becomes one of the twelve inheritors of tai chi chuan as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.
Biography
[edit]His grand mother was from Chenjiagou, the cradle of tai chi chuan. He starts to learn this martial art with his uncle, Chen Zhaosen, who is known for his expertise with guandao. In 1991, he wins several medals in a competition in Wenxian and becomes the student and one of the first disciples of grand master Wang Xian.
