Robby Robson is co-founder and CEO of Eduworks Corporation. He is widely known for his contributions to modern learning technology, which include co-authoring CalculusQuest in 1995 [1], chairing the IEEE Learning Technology Standards Committee from 2000 - 2008 and contributing to the Sharable Content Object Reference Model and other standards such as Learning Object Metadata [2 - 5], applying natural language processing algorithms to automate the analysis and generation of training content [6 - 9], and leading the development of the Competency and Skills System to support competency-based education and training [10].

Robby Robson received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Stanford University in 1981 where he proved the fundamental embedding theorem in Semi-algebraic geometry [11]. In 1987 while at Oregon State University he founded one of the very first Research Experiences for Undergraduates programs in Mathematics and was an early advocate for undergraduate research in that field.
