Sajid Sadi is a computer scientist and inventor.[1][2] He is the Vice President of Research and Head of the Think Tank Team at Samsung Research America.[3] He is known for his work on Samsung Galaxy Gear, Samsung Gear 360 Round and Samsung Bot Chef.[4] His latest project with Samsung is the Ballie, which is a small spherical robot, with a built-in camera, microphone, and speaker.[5] Sajid is also an advocate for deep learning.[6]

Sajid received his BS in Computer Science from Columbia University[7], New York and received his MS and PhD from MIT[8] with Professor Pattie Maes.[9] His doctoral dissertation focused on creating behavioral changes using automated, subtle, contextual and just-in-time feedback using IoT devices.[10]
