Rizwanul Islam is an emerging researcher from Bangladesh whose academic interests lie at the intersection of religion, history, and philosophy, with a particular focus on the Middle East, South Asia, and Islamic thought. He is pursuing his undergraduate degree at Northwestern University, where he studies Asian and Middle Eastern Studies/History, and Communication Studies.

Islam has received multiple research grants and fellowships from Northwestern University to conduct independent projects under the supervision of faculty members, including Professor Brannon Ingram and Professor Zachary Wright. Prior to university, he attended Faujdarhat Cadet College, where he topped his board in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) national examination.
