Overview

[edit]

I've got a degree in applied mathematics, and I might be editing articles related to math. Besides that, I have varied interests!

Conflict of Interest Regarding Article Publication

[edit]

I'm currently employed by University at Buffalo's Institute for Myelin and Glia Exploration as an administrative assistant. At the direction of my supervisor, I aim to write and publish articles for two of the institute's former directors, Dr. M. Laura Feltri and Dr. Lawrence Wrabetz.

Disclosure

[edit]

I believe I'm meant to officially disclose this conflict of interest like so:

$ This user, in accordance with the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use, discloses that they have been paid by University at Buffalo for their contributions to Maria Laura Feltri.

$ This user, in accordance with the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use, discloses that they have been paid by University at Buffalo for their contributions to Lawrence Wrabetz.

Additionally, I plan to add a COI disclosure at the top of each draft.

Payment

[edit]

I'm not a professional Wikipedia editor - in fact, these will be the first pages I'm creating or editing. That is to say, I am not accepting additional payment or commission in exchange for my work creating these pages.

Employer's Potential Commercial Interest

[edit]

While I do not have a personal commercial interest in these pages, it's conceivable that University at Buffalo may benefit from their former researchers' increased notoriety.

Notability

[edit]

I'm not entirely sure if Dr. Feltri and Dr. Wrabetz meet a threshold of notability where they 'should' have articles about them. They have H-indices of 58 and 60, respectively, and they've helped author 155 and 173 papers respectively, according to PubMed.
