Biography and Education
[edit]Rezwanur Rahman, born on October 23, 1993, in Halishahar, Chittagong, Bangladesh, is a Bangladeshi software engineer. He completed his Secondary School Certificate (SSC) at Garib-E-Newaz High School, Halishahar, in 2009 and his Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) at BEPZA Public School & College, CEPZ, Chittagong, in 2011. Rahman pursued a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering at the American International University Bangladesh (AIUB), graduating in 2016.
As of now, Rahman resides in Tirol, Austria, with his wife.
Professional Activities
[edit]Rezwanur began his career with Microsoft Bangladesh in 2016, joining as an intern in the Developer Experience (DX) division. During his internship, he was responsible for managing key programs such as Microsoft Imagine Cup, Microsoft Student Partners Program, Microsoft Most Valuable Professional, Microsoft DreamSpark, and Microsoft for Startups. After successfully completing the 8-month internship, he transitioned to Tech One Global, one of the largest Microsoft partner companies in Southeast Asia, as a Technology Specialist.
Subsequently, Rezwanur joined ADN Telecom Limited, the leading telecom and internet service provider in Bangladesh, as a Senior Engineer specializing in Microsoft IT solutions. In 2020, he advanced his career by joining Microsoft’s Global Support team as a Senior Technical Support Lead, where he worked for 2 years and 8 months.
In pursuit of new opportunities, Rezwanur relocated to Tirol, Austria, and took on the role of Application, Automation, and Augmented Reality Engineer at Aeoon Technologies GmbH.
Rezwanur is also an entrepreneur, having founded his own technology company in Bangladesh called Backend Group. This umbrella organization focuses on emerging technologies, new market opportunities, and AI innovations. It encompasses several ventures, including Backend Emerging Business Limited, Commeasy, AI Lab, Project Aroma, and Rebranding. Rezwanur serves as the Managing Director & CEO of the company and is a member of the board of directors for the group.

- Winner of the National Hackathon.
- First runner-up for Telenor Digital Winner - Best App in Asia for the app Bornomala.
2015
- First runner-up in Dhakathon, Bangladesh's first-ever Hackathon for Elections.
- Awarded a fully-funded round trip to Microsoft Headquarters in Seattle, WA as Lead YouthSpark Advocate.
- Recognized as a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) for Office 365.
2016
- Offered an internship as a Developer Experience Lead at Microsoft Bangladesh Limited, the first such opportunity in Bangladesh.
- Appointed Country Lead for the Microsoft Student Partners Program.
2017
- Selected as a National Delegate for the Commonwealth Youth Summit 2017 in Cyberjaya, Malaysia, representing Bangladesh and meeting King Charles III.
