History
[edit]Dynamic Leap Technology Inc was founded to provide software development services and consulting to the North American market. Their clients include Shotlister, CPD4Me, and The Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Although Dynamic Leap has developed applications for Mac OS X and Windows RT operating systems, though their primary focus is mobile development [3] The founder, Andrei Iancu, has maintained his role as CEO since the company's inception.
Shot Lister, an app developed by Dynamic Leap has received positive reviews from Slashfilm.[4] Shot Lister also has a software training course on Lynda.com .[5]
Local Contributions
[edit]Andrei is a committee member of the Vancouver iDev meetup group, and maintains his role as treasurer .[6] The Vancouver iDev group provides a platform for iOS developers in the Greater Vancouver Area to meet and exchange knowledge, information, and further grow the community.[7] Andrei has also taught Software Development courses at the University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University. Dynamic Leap Apps
[edit]Shot Lister enables directors and assistant directors to digitally organize sets, shots, scenes, actors, required equipment and other relevant material. It allows this information to be pushed to other users in a movie crew. This app is available on iOS, Android, Apple Watch and is in development for Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows.
CPD Calendar consolidates calendars for Medical Education and Continuing Professional Development Events, Seminars, Courses for Physicians in British Columbia, Canada.
Yeti assists snow removal drivers and operations, which enables them to record their time, state of the location before and after snow removal, and maintain accurate records.
eMote is an instant messaging application, which specializes in communicating emotions via the colour of the chat bubbles chosen by the user.
My Cree is a piece of educational software developed to assist individuals in learning and studying Plains Cree. It is targeted toward younger users. It was designed, illustrated, and voiced by Cree illustrators, artists and filmmakers.[14]

This app can assist individuals affected by psoriasis in learning about treatment choices and communicate effectively with physicians about route, cost, and risk preferences to make the best treatment decisions.
This app collects various coupons and deals from aggregators in the US, UK, Canada and Australia. The deals are displayed on a map, and are collected based on the user’s location.
FOR Safety Checklists provides a checklist for medical professionals to follow in order to minimize errors caused by human factors during procedures. Each checklist can be exported for each patient seen.
Ask the Nutritionist provides access to optimal dietary information and recipies to those suffering from Cancer, based on type and symptoms. These diets were created by the institute’s staff of registered and board certified dieticians.[22][23]
This app is for both iPad and iPhone, and provides a short series of videos from Andrew Collinge demonstrating how to put up long hair.
My Nearest
[edit]Released in 2009, this app was created in conjunction with Canpages and is an example of an early app that can recommend services and points of interest based on geolocation.[25]
