![]() | Evaluate an article
Complete your article evaluation below. Here are the key aspects to consider: Lead sectionA good lead section defines the topic and provides a concise overview. A reader who just wants to identify the topic can read the first sentence. A reader who wants a very brief overview of the most important things about it can read the first paragraph. A reader who wants a quick overview can read the whole lead section.
ContentA good Wikipedia article should cover all the important aspects of a topic, without putting too much weight on one part while neglecting another.
Tone and BalanceWikipedia articles should be written from a neutral point of view; if there are substantial differences of interpretation or controversies among published, reliable sources, those views should be described as fairly as possible.
Sources and ReferencesA Wikipedia article should be based on the best sources available for the topic at hand. When possible, this means academic and peer-reviewed publications or scholarly books.
Organization and writing qualityThe writing should be clear and professional, the content should be organized sensibly into sections.

Why you have chosen this article to evaluate?
[edit](Briefly explain why you chose it, why it matters, and what your preliminary impression of it was.)
I chose this article because it had to do with something that was of interest to me, and I also thought it was something I could learn from. It was something I did have previous knowledge about, and I wanted to expand that knowledge. I know that there are many English-speaking Christians and there are many different translations and interpretations of the Bible that are used.

Everything in the article was relevant as it categorized and explained the different translations. This kept everything in a neat and orderly fashion and didn't allow for the article to make itself distracting. I did not find any inaccurate, out of date, or missing information. The content was very up to date as it used information and studies from the 2010s and even 2022. The article felt very neutral as it did a good job presenting information with no clear bias. The source links work and the sources do support the information presented in this article. There were a couple "self-published source" links I saw. Every single fact is not necessarily given a reference, bit there are a large number of references throughout. The sources came from a wide variety of sources including studies, polls, firsthand sources, and more. The Talk page seems to just be a lot of questions and answers. It provides new and improved information from the original article and the overall tone seems to be calm for the most part. It is part of 3 Wiki projects including Bible, Translation Studies, and English Studies. It is rated C class for all with High and Top performances.
