Technical Research Profile

[edit]

I am an independent researcher specializing in the archaeology of early networking protocols and legacy mainframe environments. My primary focus is the audit of VAX/VMS software distribution nodes from the early 1990s.

Current Projects (2024-2026)

[edit]
  • Analysis of CERN PRIAM (Protocol for Remote Intelligent Archive Migration) distribution headers.
  • Mapping the 1991 North American mirror nodes at Boelter Hall.
  • Investigating the intersection of early transgenic data mapping and DECnet infrastructure.

Technical Background

[edit]
  • Experience with OpenVMS, Fortran, and COBOL legacy systems.
  • Deep interest in the "Hidden Layers" of early backpropagation neural networks (Ref: Hinton, 1986).
