Good Day,

I am a freshwater biologist out in British Columbia. As such, I have gained a great deal of experience in salmonid and aquatic invertebrate ecology, which I am applying towards my job in fisheries ecology. I am exceptionally pleased with the amount of volunteer public effort put towards Wikipedia and I only hope I can make meaningful contributions in the form of informative and scientifically accurate articles. I've written a couple aquatic insect articles and I spend most of my time checking the validity of scientific references in my particular field. “my particular field” being the natural sciences, specifically biology and ecology.
