projecskate9 was founded by mountain kizza in 2012, he came from kampala.after is job transfer to mukono,one day as he was skating on the streets of his new town in mukono,he met two guys on the road and they were suprised to see an african skateboarding, they had never seen any one skarting,so they called him and politly asked him to teach them the new sport.so he had two skateboards by then so he decided to help the guys,they started skating on streets of mukono and later they aplied to use a basketball coat were the team began.from there many people moved from distant areas to join the team hence he had no chance to sto p them because they lacked skateboarding materials as u know the game is so expensive,so he used to buy skateboards and collecting donations from friends so the yourth and kids of mukono got a chance to skate.
