WeTrust is a decentralized platform for financial products built on the Ethereum blockchain.[1] Founded in 2016 by George Li, Patrick Long, and Hoang Nguyen, its mission is to advance financial inclusion throughout the world.[2] Along with the founding team, its advisers include Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, blockchain researcher Emin Gün Sirer, and blockchain consultant Michael Casey.[3][4]

WeTrust's first released product is the Trusted Lending Circles dApp. Based on the rotating savings and credit association (ROSCA) concept, it utilizes smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain to allow users to pool money together at lower fees, eliminates the need for a middleman, and improved incentive structures. As it's still in its early days of usage, in the future, products may include a credit scoring system, mutual insurance, and lending.[5][6]
