The Prodigal sonz is a Hip-hop group based in Southern Africa in a small landlocked country the kingdom of Swaziland. They started doing music in high school at Evelyn Baring High school as its every teen dream to become a superstar. Evelyn baring high school natured and developed their talent until they realized its not only about the fame, people really loved their music. which saw them being signed under a record label blaque creations. They have performed alongside Teargas, HHP, Khuli chana, AKA, Bignuz to mention just a few. They also produced a song called Star which also became a hit in the country that opened doors for them, soon after they got to collaborate with Nigerian star Ollyz on a song called 'wine n roll' which also became a hit in Nigeria, Swaziland and in South Africa. The group is well known for their newest hit 'Siyabangena' shinning on airwaves and their stage presence really puts you on a party mood, 'Siyabangena' recently hit the charts and was top at number two for weeks. Determined to change Hip hop to "Ngwane hop" as they choose to call their genre,

their highlight is getting to work a number of producers in Swaziland including an Australian Producer Myles Mumford on their album 'SINGUMLIBA' and Lusweti's album, they describe Myles as a humble guy who understands music n they connected in the studio and after Myles saw them perform. He had to work with them while he was in Swaziland. Shinning from the rest Prodigal sonz describe their music journey as a difficult one, but they feel music is their only way they feel they connect with the world...SINGUMLIBA meaning 'we are the future' .....they are certain nothing can stand in their way, their passion for music goes beyond the typical reasons for most rap stars....Members of the group are Mimz, Suicide and Mas. Already big in Swaziland, the group promises more on their music journey...its been 8yrs but this is just the beginning.
