The Balkan Roleplay Incident in Romania occurred on April 12, 2025, in the Roblox game Balkan Roleplay. It began after a cultural disagreement escalated into an in-game murder and attempted escape.
Background
[edit]He arrived to his house in Sofia at 16:45. He was casually browsing the internet until eventually he came across to a patriotic Romanian. The Turkish guy posted a picture of some houses from Romania and jokingly said "These houses look a little Turkish..." Romanian man got mad and remarked, "We have our own culture before y’all came," prompting a Turkish player to escalate tensions. Armed screenshots followed, along with statements suggesting he was “on his way to Romania.”
Incident
[edit]He arrived at Bucharest in no time. He waited 20 minutes and got on his car. He began looking for him. The Turkish guy saw someone that looked like the guy that made him mad, So he got out of his car and decided to get closer to the guy. According to a witness nearby, He was telling bad stuff about Romania. Which made the Romanian guy mad tat he ended up talking about how good was Vlad the Impaler. The Turkish guy got mad, Pulled out a submachine gun and then he shot the Romanian 6 times. He thought he killed the guy. But he ended up taking the life of an innocent Romanian Citizen. The news was spread worldwide, Which made the guy feel a little bit worried. His car was captured from a camera on the border. He tried to escape from Romania to Bulgaria/Turkey quickly but was intercepted by Romanian armed forces and eventually ended up with Romanian Police Forces arriving at the scene which eventually got him arrested.
Aftermath
[edit]April 12 is now marked by Romanian people as a memorial day, humorously referred to as *“The Great Roblox Balkan Incident.”* where they will remember what a Turkish guy has done to them. Which caused Romania and Turkey to have bad relationships Diplomatically.
It has been learned that a court will be held soon. People want him to be sentenced to life.
