A unique palace combined Chinese and Western styles
Spring Fragrance Palace (春芳楼)

Spring Fragrance Palace (春芳楼)

This unique palace (春芳楼) harmonized Chinese and Western architectural styles. It was built according to the pattern of five rooms with four heads and a courtyard in the middle.[1] The front of this two-story structure is supported by stone pillars. There is an open dance platform on the second floor. The palace is decorated with a large number of artworks and sculptures and the top center exhibits an epic flying eagle.

It was built in 1966 by Cai Zutan and Cai Chaolin and named 春芳楼 (Spring Fragrance Palace). On both sides of the main gate are engraved stone carvings of Cai Zutan's maxims. It was showcased in newspapers [2] and videos [3].
