About me

Everyone has been made for some particular work and the desire for that work has been put in every heart. ~Rumi.

Hello and welcome to my userpage! I am the Wikipedian Pixarh, a very content and helpful and obviously curious Wikipedian! I am a simple student of life. I have spent most of my life studying mysticism and fortunately today, I have much knowledge about a mysticism, spirituality, tasawwuf or whatever you would like to call it in your own way. I keep contributing to subjects that most impress me though Islamic mysticism is my specialty. I love creating and editing articles.

The Wikiworld

[edit]

I have always wanted to write in books and encyclopedias. So contributing to Wikipedia is a great pleasure. I have always enjoyed fixing up whatever errors possible, expanding stubs, and so on. A Wikipedian is always busy with editing, writing, fixing articles, and taking care of the policies. I am one such Wikipedian. Should you require my input in an article, feel free to message me on my talk page.

Love is the bridge between you and everything. ~ Rumi.

If you get bored, you can always let fate guide your reading.

Buddha's hand
Buddha's hand (Citrus medica var. sarcodactylis), also known as the fingered citron, is a citron variety whose fruit is segmented into finger-like sections, resembling those seen on representations of the Buddha. Like other citrons, the plant is a shrub or small tree with long, irregular branches covered in thorns. It has large pale green oblong leaves and white flowers. The fruit's fingers contain only the white part of the fruit and sometimes a small amount of acidic pulp, but many of them are completely juiceless and some are seedless. The fruit is used for its aroma, as a zest in food and drinks, as candied fruit, and in traditional medicine. It is also sometimes used as a religious offering in Buddhist temples and has been sold as a Halloween novelty under the trademark "goblin fingers".Photograph credit: Kaldari

There is one tip I would give to all Wikipedians: Please use the "Edit summary" box at the bottom of the edit field. No matter what you're doing. Providing a summary can make all the difference in the world to someone reviewing changes.
