Joyful M. Daniels, known professionally as DC BROWN, is a Malawian rapper, singer, song writer and enterpreneur. Born in Rumphi, northern region of Malawi. Daniels gained significance in the year 2004, with a Band “ THE BORN FAMOUS “ where he released a first single that became viral on Malawian radio stations. The born famous band was a Mzuzu first hip hop pioneers whose mission was to promote urban music in Malawi. A young team of Four; Dc Brown, Lawnex, Kumasewera & Dee Dush.

Daniels continued his success, by releasing a first solo album which include DNA the dead north alive(2010). Munthali collaborated with many International & national hip hop names among them, Suffix,Onesmus,Dj Mamba and many more.

Early 2011, Daniels moved to South Africa, Capetown, Western Cape where he pursued his music career alongside South African artists. Munthali later focused more on Interpreneurship, where he launched a music studio to promote upcoming artists, especially those who can not afford to fund their music records.
