I don't generally bother to log in as it's just a bit quicker to make a simple edit without doing so (in fact I even forgot that I created this account eight years ago). But I contribute to some technical pages, and I will try to remember to log in when editing those, so that my contributions can be identified. I maintain my own web site, and I've included a number of links to Wikipedia articles in my pages. I've also cited one or two of my pages in contributions to Wiki articles.

Competence

I trained as an electrical technician (Radio and Radar in the Royal Navy) and I work now as a technician both in IT systems, and in the Offshore industry. That's literally offshore - as in, doing stuff in ships that perform survey or construction work at sea.
