Option 1

[edit]
Main Group element [1]
Article Evaluation
Besides the need for some citations here and there, I don't have big complaints about the current text on this article. The issue is that it only has a "lead section" and is lacking a lot of content, since there aren't many "group x" articles, this would be a nece place to put them + some applications of main group chemistry.

Option 2

[edit]
Chemoselectivity [2]
Article Evaluation
This article defines chemoselectivity and has two random examples illustrating it. They comment that it is complicated to predict chemoselectivity, but fails to show how it is predicted or point out complicating factors. This lacks content pointing out what causes chemoselectivity to begin with, what factor to look for and which one has more weight in the outcome.

Option 3

[edit]
Spectrochemical series [3]
Article Evaluation
This is a good starting article, but it misses details on why the ligands have that effect on the metals. An orbital analysis and some examples of how that affects reactivity would be useful.

Option 4

[edit]
Air sensitivity [4]
It somehow has more information about air-free technique than it has about air sensitive compounds. The article never mentions oxophilicity! Missing the key (all) decomposition pathways caused by water and oxygen.
