Original 1825 Erie Canal Boat Seneca Chief

[edit]

I'd like to check physical copies of both Noble Whitford's History of NY Canals for information about the original Erie Canal Boat Seneca Chief, as well as Cadwallader D Colden's Memoir from the celebration of the completion of the Grand Canal.

There's some more info in Bond of Union, specifically chapter 12.[2] Bernstein's Wedding of the Waters has various information on the Erie Canal Boat Seneca Chief and the other boats that made up the flotilla of the Erie Canal's inaugural journey.[3]
