Benry (YouTube channel)

'Benry' https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-HYsD6B5de-rRqVQiI3SBQ/featured is a Youtube channel that was created on the 6th of August, 2014, and has since been producing content in the vein of rap battles, comedy sketches and charity work.

Early Development Benry is the brainchild of Henry J. O'Shea and Andrew B. H. Barrett, both in secondary school at the time of its creation, and was created out of a want for a creative outlet through which the duo could show their school who they could be, and to entertain. Their first video, released on the 6th of August, 2014, was the 'The Making Of: Ben Barrett VS Henry O'Shea', which was meant to be released after the actual rap battle ('RAP BATTLE - Ben Barrett vs Henry O'Shea'), which was released minutes later, all before lunchtime. The rap battle received mixed reviews, though most were positive, and the video has gone on to be their most viewed, with currently approximately 600 views.

But Wait! There's more... Since the initial success of 'RAP BATTLE - Ben Barrett vs Henry O'Shea', the channel has flourished, uploading its more successful videos: 'MLG Xmas Lazytown', 'I want to go... to Berlin' and 'Mr. Dave Romeo Podga Remix FEAT MLG Techno Frog'. The infamous 'Benry Advent Calendar' received a very mixed reception and lower viewing figures, probably due to its rather rushed feel, it being the biggest challenge they have undergone to date. This calendar featured personalities which reappeared and are to reappear in future videos, such as Andrew White (the producer) and Juntapp The Sheep (the music man).
