From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I received a message from Wikipedia asking who I am.

I am an independent software developer living in Seattle, WA. I specialize in developing storage and file system software for Linux, NetWare and Windows. This is my full time job. I have been working in software development since the days of Unix version 7 (1970s).

My primary hobby is growing vegetables and raising small animals at home(chickens, goats, etc.). Minor hobbies are playing chess and billiards. I read and study everything that I can get my hands on.

The edits that I made to the NetWare Traditional file system page are based upon my knowledge of NetWare. Nothing that I added is private or under NDA. To be specific, I edited the maximum number of Extended Attributes that are supported by NWFS. This can be confirmed by the NetWare console command "set maximum extended attributes per file or path".

When researching a topic on the Internet, I often run across sites such as Wikipedia that have very useful information. Sometimes the information is not entirely correct or could use additions. If I know the correct information I try to share my knowledge on the topic.

And yes, I have donated to Wikipedia as I think that their global directory of knowledge is very cool.
