"Rebels Without Applause" is a song by English singer Morrissey. It was released on 25 November 2022.[1] The song was the lead single to his planned fourteenth studio album Bonfire of Teenagers, but the album was postponed and later shelved after Morrissey's departure from Capitol Records in December 2022.[2] The album remains unreleased.[3]
Background
[edit]The song features several former and current members of Red Hot Chili Peppers as Morrissey's backing band, including Josh Klinghoffer, Flea and Chad Smith. It was produced by Andrew Watt.[4]
