Ethan Doyle (born September 9, 2004), better known by his stage name nasus_elyob, is an English musician, producer and YouTuber. Doyle began creating music content and demos in 2020, published to his various social media platforms.
Doyle's music career started in 2022, after releasing five mixtapes prior to the release of his 2023 debut album, THEN, AND NOW. This was then followed by the 2024 album Alone at Sea, and the 2025 EP, Sonder (Demos). He has previously collaborated with artists such as Jellyfish and meifoon.[2]
Early life
[edit]Ethan Doyle was born on September 9, 2004, in Gloucester, UK. Studying in Stroud, he completed his A-Level in Music Technology at Marling School, before moving on to a Bachelor's degree in Creative Music Technology in Bath, Somerset.[3] He started uploading content in 2020, following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Doyle is a fan of Swindon Town F.C.[4]

[edit]Doyle's early music started as Lofi hip-hop, however he diversified that into more experimental and electronic genres. With the release of Alone at Sea and Crushed in 2024, he credited artists such as Quadeca, Phoebe Bridgers, Parannoul, Bright Eyes and Mid-Air Thief as some of his influences.[5]
