Nancy Collisson is an American citizen, native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and author of the Mr. Buffy children's book series. She is a graduate of Marquette University (B.A., English and Secondary Education, 1981) and the University of Kansas (M.A., East Asian Languages & Cultures, 1996). She has taught English and Japanese language at high schools throughout the U.S. and at international schools in Jakarta and Tokyo. She presently resides in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, where she serves as Senior Vice President of Consortium Marketing Consultancy and from where she writes and publishes the Mr. Buffy children's book series.
