A reader who wants a quick overview can read the whole lead section.
ContentA good Wikipedia article should cover all the important aspects of a topic, without putting too much weight on one part while neglecting another.
Tone and BalanceWikipedia articles should be written from a neutral point of view; if there are substantial differences of interpretation or controversies among published, reliable sources, those views should be described as fairly as possible.
Sources and ReferencesA Wikipedia article should be based on the best sources available for the topic at hand. When possible, this means academic and peer-reviewed publications or scholarly books.
Organization and writing qualityThe writing should be clear and professional, the content should be organized sensibly into sections.
Images and Media
Talk page discussionThe article's talk page — and any discussions among other Wikipedia editors that have been taking place there — can be a useful window into the state of an article, and might help you focus on important aspects that you didn't think of.

Which article are you evaluating?
[edit]Why you have chosen this article to evaluate?
[edit]I chose this article because I really enjoy lego. I spend a lot of my free time building lego sets, and particularly enjoy the look, style and aesthetic of the modular building sets. My preliminary impression of this article is that it is going to provide me with a lot of information not only about the series of the sets as a whole, but also about each individual set in the series.
Evaluate the article
[edit]The lead section served as a concise introduction of the topics that would be discussed further in the article. The content was relevant to the topic and up-to-date. I enjoyed how it not only discussed the overall history, timeline, and challenges of the series; but also briefly touched on each individual set included in the series. The tone of the article stayed very neutral making it more informational than opinionated which I was fond of. All facts were backed up by reliable sources, and the links worked. The article was well written and easy to understand. It also included a decent number of images which is a good way to keep readers engaged. Overall, this article leaves a good impression, and leaves an opening to be continued as the lego series is also continued.
