Monkey Talk has been developed by Gorilla Logic’s and has been a source structure for creating open-source automated testing tool having a complete functional testing platform for mobile applications and obtaining maturity since 2008. Currently, it supports testing native and hybrid iOS and Android apps.[3] Monkey Talk helps in automating real, functional interactive tests for iOS and Android apps – which include processes from baseline smoke tests to sophisticated data-driven test suites and native, mobile, and hybrid app available over isolated or open environment, real devices or simulators and emulators available in market.[4] The tool supports all kind of tethered and networked devices. The biggest advantage of the tool is the platform independent script creation which results in same script being used for both Android and iOS platform and providing looping facility.
