Modest Jones was born Modest Estella Freeman on November 26, 1982 in Springfield, Massachusetts to a Black and Native - American mother and a Black, Irish, French and West - Indian father. She graduated from East Longmeadow High School in 2000 and in 2005 she received her Bachelor's degree in Communications Arts from Framingham State College.

Modest Jones is a model who is most known for her appearances in hip hop videos. In 2006 Modest was featured in a controversial series that was released by All Access DVD called Sex, Cameras and Hip Hop. Sex, Cameras and Hip Hop featured provocative footage of Modest Jones and rapper Maino that gained hundreds of thousands of internet viewers and was repeatedly posted by bloggers. The Modest Jones Show launched in 2009 on Jones' website www.modestjones.com just in time for Modest's first film release for Kiss and Tail: The Hollywood Jump-off. Kiss and Tail, produced by DJ Vlad and Peter Spirer, directed by Thomas Gibson, is a documentary simulating and discussing author Karrinne Steffans and her books Confessions of a Video Vixen and the Vixen Diaries. This film was narrated by Wendy Williams.

Modest Jones has had stand-in roles in such shows as The CW's Gossip Girl and Law & Order: SVU and Arrested Development: The Movie.

Modest Jones now resides in the New York Metropolitan area.
