ArtClip3D is a CAD/CAM software distributed under the same company name. It is dedicated to CNC wood & metalworking industry applications. Based in Santa Fe Springs, CA, ArtClip3D has a staff of approximately 15 employees. The company has grown to be one of the key actor in the field of affordable CAD/CAM solution because of the free web-based libraries partnered with Vectorclip3d.com that comes with the software.
History
[edit]ArtClip3D was created in collaboration with Vectorclip3D.com and Type3 Software in the year 2010. Since the association ArtClip3D Software has been headquartered in Santa Fe Springs, CA in the late 2010. Sold worldwide, ArtClip3D Software serves various industries including the Wood, Sign, Mold, Engraving, and Jewelry by proposing a complete solution software + libraries of items which in 2010 was seen as the only solution bundled with quality designs ready-to-machine.
CAD/CAM Modules
[edit]ArtClip3D is made of 3 fundamental modules which operate together, building 2D or 3D results on a CNC machine. The 2D Edit module allows for instance the creation of vectors based of various geometrical shapes (rectangle, circle, ovals, arrow, star...) while the node edition brings to Users the capability to accurately edit the position in the 3 axis XYZ of each individual point of a vector in absolute reference guaranteeing accuracy up to 16 digits after the decimal point if needed by the user.
ArtClip3D Software comes standard with 3 main modules for:
- 2D Editing Mill
- 3D Manipulations (Bas Relief)
- CAM and Machine Simulations (CAM)
ArtClip3D also offers a web access to over 1500 individual 3D models, and V-Carving models "ready-to-carve".
