The Midwest Compact Touring Series was founded by Andy Jach and Patrick McNamara in the 2013 season with two test events with one at the M-40 Speedway won by Brian Banta and South Bend Motor Speedway won by Tom Taylor. In December 2013 Patrick McNamara and Andy Jach attended a meeting with Steve Vores and Dan Redmond in Farmland, Indiana and agreed to a sanctioning agreement with the Vores Compact Touring Series.

2014: In April Micheal Woody is named the first employee of the touring series as the Marketing Director. Freddie Troup is named the Tech Director. Andy Jach and Patrick McNamara become co-owners of Midwest Compacts LLC. Mike Richardson becomes first series champion and Todd Metz, Jr. becomes the Phantom Race Gear Challenge Series Champion. Kyle Stark wins the 1st Annual World Series of Compacts.

2015: Andy Jach becomes sole owner of Midwest Compacts, LLC. The Midwest Compact Touring Series invades Wisconsin for the first time visiting Madison International Speedway and Wisconsin Dells Raceway. Craig Frase becomes the series champion and Dan Irvine becomes the Phantom Race Gear Challenge Series Champion. Phil Malouf wins the 2nd World Series of Compact winner at the Kalamazoo Speedway. Derek Davis was named the rookie of the year. In October Andy Jach and Dan Redmond announce the two year sanctioning agreement between Midwest Compacts, LLC and the Vores Compact Touring Series has ended. Freddie Troup retires from tech and the end of the season.

2016: Frankie Dettmar is named minority owner of Midwest Compact Touring Series, LLC. Corey Bowen is named the Tech Director. The Series changes is name from VCTS North to the Midwest Compact Touring Series. Phil Malouf becomes the first driver to win Rookie of the Year and Series Champion in the same year. The 3rd Annual World Series of Compact is rained out.

2017: Andy Jach becomes sole owner of Midwest Compact Touring Series, LLC. Kenny Richardson is named the Tech Director of the Series. The Midwest Compact Touring Series announces the Midwest Compact Touring East Series. Don Rufener, III wins the North Series Championship, Wayne Stack is the Phantom Race Gear Challenge Series Champion, and Chad Gray becomes the Rookie of the Year. Jon Quinn becomes the first East Series Champion. Josh Brown won the 4th Annual World Series of Compacts at Highland Rim Speedway in Tennessee.

2018: Jessica Gargagliano is named Director of Business Operations. Micheal Wood is promoted to Vice President of Operations and President of Marketing. Horvath Design becomes a branding partner. Rev X Oil becomes the presenting sponsor with a $5000 points fund. The Midwest Compact Touring Series announces the West Series with a five race schedule for 2018 in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa. Also announces a partnership with the Midwest Dash Series for one race at Hawkeye Downs Raceway. Adam Krzykowski becomes the first Michigan North Series Champion and Madilyn Blanch becomes the first female to win Rookie of the Year. Brian Sprague from Brookville, PA wins the East Series Championship and Jacob Gustafson wins the East Series Rookie of the Year. Brandon Delacy wins West Series Championship and Chris Jackson becomes West Rookie of the Year. Phil Malouf becomes first National Champion and Jacob Gustafson first National Rookie of the Year. Pete Doxey becomes the first Michigan driver to win the 5th Annual World Series of Compacts at the Kalamazoo Speedway. The World Series of Compacts becomes the highest paying asphalt race in the Midwest for Compacts with a record $15,000 purse. Andy Jach steps down as the director of operations and Jessica Garaglinao retires. JR Long is named the new Director of Operations/Vice President starting on Jan 1st, 2019. The Midwest Compact Touring also created a weekly Podcast called Compact Weekly presented by Rev X Oil in 2018. Freddie Troup is named to the advisory board.

2019: The Midwest Compact Touring Series, LLC purchased the Midwest Dash Series from Greg Oliver. The Midwest Compact West Series was combined with Dash Series keeping the Dash Series name and history. Micheal Wood becomes part owner of the Midwest Compacts, LLC. Andy Jach becomes Chairman of the Board and Micheal Wood is promoted to Vice Chairman of the Board. Logan Landscaping announces $4000 Rookie of the Year Point Fund, Logan Landscaping announces $2500 Dash Series Points Fund, and Rev X Oil announces return of the $5,000 National Points Fund. Kenny Richardson retires from tech to become a car owner. Darrell Holtzlander is named Tech Director, Hannah Thomas is named special assistant to the Director of Operations, Arik Holtzlander is named to the tech team, and Kenny Richardson to the advisory board. The Midwest Compact Touring Series announces $3000 to win race at Merritt Speedway, $2500 to win race at Kalamazooo Speedway, two $2000 to win races at Sandusky and Birchrun Speedway, five $1000 to win races at Kalamazoo Speedway(1) Birchrun (1) Richmond Raceway (1) Berlin Raceway (2), and $600 to win race at New Paris Speedway. The schedule will see thirty events at twenty three tracks and nine states.
