Complete your article evaluation below. Here are the key aspects to consider: Lead sectionA good lead section defines the topic and provides a concise overview. A reader who just wants to identify the topic can read the first sentence. A reader who wants a very brief overview of the most important things about it can read the first paragraph. A reader who wants a quick overview can read the whole lead section.
ContentA good Wikipedia article should cover all the important aspects of a topic, without putting too much weight on one part while neglecting another.
Tone and BalanceWikipedia articles should be written from a neutral point of view; if there are substantial differences of interpretation or controversies among published, reliable sources, those views should be described as fairly as possible.
Sources and ReferencesA Wikipedia article should be based on the best sources available for the topic at hand. When possible, this means academic and peer-reviewed publications or scholarly books.
Organization and writing qualityThe writing should be clear and professional, the content should be organized sensibly into sections.

Which article are you evaluating?
[edit]ATP-binding cassette transporter
Why you have chosen this article to evaluate?
[edit]I chose this article because I found our discussion of ABC transporters to be extremely interesting in class. They're extremely important for a lot of reasons, but their involvement in many diseases- such as cytic fibrosis and cancer- make ABC transporters very important to humans. My preliminary impression of the article was that it was extensive in covering information related to ABC transporters.

The lead section includes a clear and concise introductory sentence. It briefly mentions the aspects of ABC transporters that will be covered in the rest of the article and while it is detailed, I wouldn't say it's overly detailed. The content appears up to date, backed by sources, and thorough. It was well structured and had no glaring grammatical errors. The article is written from a neutral standpoint and doesn't contain any obvious biases. Most of the talk page is from years ago, with only minor complaints that have been fixed since. Overall, I would say this page is well written and looks great-- the images are clear and help in conveying information and the material is concise and comprehensive. If I had to give a criticism, I would say just to explain the images with a bit more detail-- i.e., purpose of the transporters shown. Otherwise, there is nothing I would critique, the article is well developed.
