srn_3555 is a bacterian antisense RNA of about 100 nucleotides. It was discovered in a large-scale analysis of Staphylococcus aureus[1][2]. It is usually found in antisense of the IS200 transposase sequence. srn_3555 has a wide taxonomic distribution in the Firmicutes phylum, which is thought to be a consequence of transposition.
