Mauritian Twos
[edit]These are weak hands — 5-10 HCP or a bad 11 HCP (W200#24N) — 5+ cards in one suit, 4+ cards in another suit, with 8 losers or fewer.

- If you have 6 cards in a major, prefer to open a Weak Two.
- If you have 7 cards in a suit, prefer to open with a 3-level pre-empt, unless you have 4+ cards and a stopper in another suit.'. (F200#2N)
- The majority of your HCP should be in your two suits, but don't give up if they aren't. (C201#32N) .
- The three bids that comprise Mauritian Twos are:
- With a 0-4-5-4 shape in Error: {{SS}} missing name (help)--♦-♣, bid 2 in preference to 2NT. (C201#27S)
