[edit]Tradin Organic Agriculture BV is a commodity trading company of organic ingredients, owned by SunOpta[1]. Tardin offers a wide range of products from frozen fruits and vegetables, dried fruits, coffee, cocoa, cereals, rice, sugar, soy beans, pulses, seeds, nuts, oils, fruit concentrates, dairy products, condiments to sweeteners and others.[2]
History
[edit]Tradin began at the end of the 1980's, when Tradin's founders, Wim Rabbie and Gerard Versteegh, searched the market for the most popular organic food ingredients sold in Europe and began a trading operation. In November 2007, this business was then aquiered by the Canadian conglomorate SunOpta Inc..[3] Currently, Tradin's headquarters are located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.[4]
