Article title: Pumpkin Pie Spice
Article Evaluation: This article shows a general overview of what pumpkin spice is and its ingredients and history. The cultural impact section is short. I feel like this can be lengthened because of its popularity during autumn. I feel like I could talk more about the health aspect of this. Not necessarily pumpkin spice itself, but the sugary drinks it comes in. The article relies heavily on food blogs and other articles, maybe some academic sources would make it more reliable.

Article Evaluation: This article covers the basic uses of baking soda, I feel like there could be a deeper look into its history. Also, the article could talk more about baking sodas role in cleaning and medicine.

Article title: Lighthouses
Article Evaluation: I honestly loved this article it was an interesting read. However, I feel like they gave a great in-depth part on the history of lighthouses but not a lot of the use of modern lighthouses and how they work with modern technology. Maybe some more stuff on how lighthouses are being preserved.

Article title: Indoor Plants
Article Evaluation: This article goes into depth about all different types of indoor plants. I think it could be cool if there was a section for physiological benefits of having living plants in your house. I also think that some scientific sources could help with credibility, a lot of them are gardening and home living.

Article title: Cicadas
Article Evaluation: The article does a good job covering the biology and life of cicadas, but the section on their role in the environment can be longer and more in detail. I thought the part about cicadas’ impacting the soil and plants was really cool and that could be longer.
