Ashok Kumar Kalra is an Indian businessman who is the co-founder, executive chairman and managing director of Mughal Mahal Group, which owns the Mughal Mahal chain of Indian restaurants in Kuwait and Egypt.

A science graduate with a degree in Hotel Management from the prestigious Institute of Hotel Management Catering and Nutrition, in Pusa, New Delhi, one of the premier hospitality institutions of India. He decided to pursue entrepreneurship in 1985, when he along with his partners founded the Mughal Mahal Group in Kuwait.
