Gabriela Cowperthwaite is the director of the 2013 dramatic documentary Blackfish. The main narrative of the movie is that orca whales cannot be separated from their families or kept in isolation, and that trainers may die as a result.[1] The film becomes introspetive on the orca, Tilikum, and how he was exploited through the corporation, Seaworld.[2]
