- This source is pretty reliable, it is written by trusted professors and exercise science researchers that work at the University of New Mexico. It gives a brief history of the exercise but is mostly about Jack LaLanne, who is credited with inventing the leg extension machine and popularized modern fitness media.

- I think that this source can be used for the different purposes of the exercise. Majority of the research I’m finding says that the exercise is used for therapy and exercise therapy to help people rebuild muscles, which is a focus of the book. The book is very reliable, and is written by a professor at the University of Kentucky, Christopher Norris, who is a physiotherapist that has done research for multiple topics.

- I think I can use this source to talk about different uses of the leg extension, from yoga or strength training to helping train for marathons and long distance running like the book is titled for. I think it is reliable because it is a published book and was published 10 years ago, so the information or the research isn’t out-of-date.

- I think this source is reliable like the one above because it is professionally published and edited by a publishing company, however the publishing company is independent and is used mostly for pop culture books and authors. I would be using this source the same way as above, to find and explain difference uses and purposes of the exercise in modern fitness sciences.
