SimplePlanes 2 is an upcoming simulation video game developed and published by American indie studio Jundroo LLC. The game is a sequel to the studio's previous release,
SimplePlanes. SimplePlanes 2 is to be released on Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows first, before becoming available on mobile platforms. The original release date was in 2025, with the mobile release in 2026. However, the initial release for early access on Steam has been pushed back to March 2026, with the mobile release potentially delayed until 2027.[1] On 27 October 2025, a week-long demo was released, which included a read-only editor, and limited players to exploring one island.[2]
Gameplay
[edit]SimplePlanes 2 has a very similar interface to its predecessor, but uses a more modern style. The in-flight menu contains more options, which includes options to load a different craft or start a new activity, both during the current flight, and options to restart the flight without reloading the world.
