Kush grew u in the money makin city of detroit with his single mother jojo, he has one blood brother and sister which he never meet. in 1999 at age 8 he realized he had musical potential after the death of his great grandmother "I was very angry i need to let out some things." he wrote a poem titled Y are U gone later that week he wrote a rap in the middle of a math lesson and rapped for class mates at lunch "every one told me how good it was, to me that was tha best feeling" later after school a female classmate asked would he write a rap jus for her he agreed "after she aske me dat i was surprised i went home and started watching videos and i said i can do dat"" later on that month he and two females made a group 3 For da $money$. in at 13 he decided that rapping wasn't happening fast enough so he need to do something about "my mans told me a way to get paid fast. i was a natural hustler but i hadn't sold drugs i was just selling cds and movies" but music was still his goal he formed a group with one of his bestfriends G-Money called Beretta Boys named for the love of the gun. in 2006 he meet who he describes as a brother Mark Taylor A.K.A Export ghost he and export had much in common music, hustling, and also some influences
because its a true inspiring story
Kush received the name from a friend for smoking kush blunts and his idealization of colombian drug lord pablo escobar. he also went by the names lil d, baby dre, dre the hustle man, dre da don, and forensik. kush was a natural hustler he started in the third grade he would sale lunches to classmate "i wanted the money and my mom would make a good lunch it was better than the schools but i was writing so i didn't even eat it all a friend ask could he buy my juice and i sold my lunch every day i came to school" kush got into a lot of trouble due to anger problems which led to anger management following an altercation with a fellow class mate when ask about it all he says is "forget anger management. with the need for money for studio time kush put his street skills to work he joined a gang and he began stealing game cards and selling them to little kids "the stores made it so easy i had to at first i thought i would get caught but after a month all i could say was dang these people gota be retarded" in 6th grade he felt the need for more cash and began selling drugs. he began to on and off hustle in the 10th grade to focus more on music with partner export .
in the 9th grade kush met fellow rapper Mark Taylor a.k.a Export Ghost who also was a great musician in detroit. They had alot of the same influences of rap and hustling interactions with people. They wrote various songs in notebooks that were supposed to be for class and often freestyled alot during class. "man. we was like writing somethin in every hour so we hardly did work until the end of the year just so we could pass"
In late september of 2006, they came to a idea of making a label and group. That day the Hitout World Label was established and had open arms for new and creative talent. They brought alot of fans due to their lyrical deliveries and styles and many collaborations with big names in detroit that they have pending. The founders of it needed to recruit new talent because they needed to have more than just hardcore hustle raps coming from it.
Export discovered that his brother Antwaun Rogers A.K.A Shake Dogg could compose raps also. He asked antwaun i got a record label going now you want in. The response was yes and they gained a new member but they still needed more. Potts and Taylor's long time friend Malcolm Lucas A.K.A M-Dog heard about the label establishment and also joined the group as well as a good friend of taylor Charles Wiggins A.K.A Chuck who rapped with export when they were younger. Now at this point there were many rappers on the label of male gender, export says why not girl artists. He happened to come across a girl freestyling at her detroit residence. He was impressed by the lyrics and asked her name. This was the first female in hitout Lashayna Johnson A.K.A Dazzle. In 11th grade at the age of 17 export and kush had a very good success with the label growing with artists but there was another embedded into the label due to the r and b and rap style this artist has. James Avinger A.K.A Jae-Ave was a new edition into the label which involved numerous freestyles to view the height of his talent.
Kush was reported as saying "No matter what happens i am this its my family its whb till i die and if i die this is something im proud to leave behind
under the hiout world name and fullscale numerous mixtapes will be released and movies. kush also has plans of working with an unamed friend to create a clothing line. also in expanding the brand kush and export plan on opening a barbershop, tattoo parlor, strip club, and a car dealership and customization shop.

kush music is representation of the streets of detroit from the late 80s to now and the mafia way of conducting business. he and fellow group members use a unique style of delivery created by export ghost. in music kush does things his way he says i aint changin myself my music is my expression i dont dance i run the streets so my music is a representation of that but anyone who likes true rap loves my music what u see is what you get. i don't listen to what others do i bang the chronic, doggy style things like dat im very influenced by old school rap n a few newer people because i relate.
