  • Briefly describe why you have chosen this article to evaluate. This article outlines the production of a recent play in south Korea regarding comfort women. I thought it would continue to offer insight into the Korean perspective.

The lead needs needs to outline the article a little bit better. It is otherwise concisely written and features a strong introduction sentence.

The content of the article is exactly as the lead describes. The information is up do date within the current year. All of the content in the article seems well placed and organized.

  • Are there viewpoints that are overrepresented, or underrepresented?
  • Does the article attempt to persuade the reader in favor of one position or away from another?

The article is has a very neutral tone and presents information without any linguistic flair. There are seemingly no claims in the article but may do well to include more references to Japanese reactions of the play. It is difficult to tell if the article is pushing one direction or another.

Overall evaluation

The article is currently rated low importance since the musical has not been the source of any major political issue and rather a symptom of it. The article is well written, organized, and voiced however it lacks significant Japanese reactions to the subject. The article appears to cover the play in all aspects very well and has numerous sources. This article is decently developed in my opinion.
