Brian Lonsway (1940 - 2001) born in Toledo, Ohio. Lonsway was an Ameerican glass artist and an early member of the Studio Glass Movement in Toledo, Ohio. He is credited with making important contributions to glass furnace design and for being among the first glass artists to build a backyard glass blowing studio

Lonsway's obituary appeared in the Toledo Blade November 16, 2001.
